Alastair is an extremely experienced Technical Project Manager and Owner’s Representative. Prior to joining Hill Robinson in 2020, Alastair held management roles in refit, sales, and project departments at some of the superyacht industry’s leading shipyards and for internationally renowned yachting brands.

Responsibilities of Alastair’s day-to-day role include ensuring that the vessel, crew, and operational program run in safe harmony. Helping to overcome the technical challenges that can be posed by a refit or conversion project comes naturally to Alastair, and he enjoys working as part of a team – both with his colleagues at Hill Robinson and the crew, yards and contractors he liaises with on a daily basis.

Alastair has global maritime experience on land and at sea, and was an RNLI volunteer for the last 20 years. He has hands-on skill experience from starting boatbuilding in 1987, as well as advanced skills in ROV Engineering and piloting operation.
